Well, after my panicky e-mail regarding the link in Thing # 19, it is now active again so I checked out the list of winners and was pleased to see that several of the sites were familiar - at least in name. I went to Facebook and registered so that I could join the Library Technicians in Canada group. I'm listed as a member.
Also, check out the You Tube video that I posted.

Now This I Like
I think that these online word processing sites could be very useful. I like:
- the idea of being able to access my documents from any computer. It wouldn't matter if I had started working on something in the ERC and then was on the circ desk - no more saving duplicate files, or worse, searching for a file because you're not sure where it was saved.
- the templates, although I saved some to my account and haven't found them yet.
- the ability of others to contribute to a document and collaborate
I definitely want to explore the applications of this site further but the remaining "Things" await so I am posting this to my blog and continuing on my learning Web 2.0 journey.

Wiki Wise
Have finished a pretty thorough investigation of wikis and as suggested in the discovery exercise (thing #17), accessed the PLCMC wiki and added to the favourites -my blog and a book.

Thanks lc
Whoo-hoo! I followed your instructions (sort of) and got my Library Thing library posted to my blog. I was really hung up on my failure to do so - now I can move on!
